Senior year at CU! finally...i've been looking forward to this year for so long. i am a year away from being a teacher, my dream since i was in 6th grade. this will be a busy year, but a wonderful year. it's been weird not having my friends here who have graduated and looking around and not really recognizing anyone. Today is my last 1st day of classes and i don't even have some of them. it's nice to slowly ease my way into classes, and it is nice to sleep in til 9, instead of getting up at 7-7:30 like i did this summer. but don't you worry, i'll be getting up plenty early this semester and next! yay student teaching. i'm really looking forward to that. this year will fly by...i'm going to enjoy it and at the same time i'm looking forward to when it is over. (i wonder why?!?!) we've been singing this song during conference and i really want the chorus to be my theme this year and years to come: "Oh Christ, be the center of our lives; be the place we fix our eyes; be the center of our lives." through all the craziness that this next year brings, my desire that the focus is on Christ and not all the stuff that is happening. |
